Why Here For You Was Founded

Here For You was founded to help victims of sexual assault, domestic violence/abuse, rape and any kinds of abuse or violence in the domestic community.

Here For You was created by me, Miss Celeste Iroha, a 22 year old college student at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. I am studying Family Science and hope to become a Physician Assistant in the future to help out more in the healthcare field as I am also a Registered Medical Assistant since 2017. I have also been active in many organizations working to end sexual assault and domestic violence as well as end gun violence in the world and our local communities, such as It’s On Us, foundation created by Vice President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama in September 2014 to work on ways to end sexual assault on college campuses; March For Our Lives, which was created by the student survivors and supporters from Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School after their Parkland school shooting in Florida; and One Love - dedicated to Yeardley Love, a UVA Lacrosse player who was killed by her ex - boyfriend after she decided to leave him after he was abusing her and he retaliated and ended up ending her life :(

I have been a survivor of domestic violence/abuse, sexual assault/harassment and attempted rape by strangers and even someone I had dated in the past so I know what pain is like when talking about these issues facing our country, local communities and college campuses as we are trying to work on ending them once and for all. It’s better for you as victims or any individual who want to communicate with organizations created to work with you to help you get through your painful and sad experience in life, have someone who has been through them and dedicated her life to helping make sure that no one else has to endure these kinds of issues.

Let’s work together to end all cases of sexual assault/harassment, domestic violence/abuse and rape & attempted rape once - and - for all.
